Please mark your calendar for the following upcoming FTG events:

FTG Spring Members Meeting (CMU): The 20th FTG members meeting will be held at Carnegie Mellon University on May 3-4, 2019. The meeting is organized by Selman Erol, Deeksha Gupta, and Ariel Zetlin-Jones. Details and a call for papers will follow closer to the event.

FTG Summer School (Wharton): Following the success of the two previous summer schools, the next FTG summer school will take place at Wharton on June 26-29, 2019. The title of the summer school is “Frictions in Firms and Markets,” and it will feature lectures on incentives, information, and behavioral issues. The organizing committee consists of Vincent Glode and Itay Goldstein (co-chairs), Nadya Malenko, Uday Rajan, and Ohad Kadan. The program and a call for applications will be distributed in the coming weeks.

FTG Summer Europe Meeting (CEMFI): After three successful summer meetings in the UK, we will be moving this year's summer conference to Madrid. William Fuchs and Rafael Repullo are jointly organizing the event with support from CEMFI and UC3M.  The conference will take place at CEMFI's beautiful campus in downtown Madrid on July 3rd and 4th. A formal call for papers and logistical details will follow closer to the event.

Both the summer school and the European meeting are open to non-FTG members, so please feel free to forward this notification to your non-FTG colleagues and Ph.D. students.

We are looking forward to seeing you at these events!
