The next summer meeting of the FTG will be jointly sponsored by Central European University and the Paul Woolley Centre at the London School of Economics, organized by Peter Kondor, Martin Oehmke and Adam Zawadowski. It will be held June 1-3, 2022, at the Budapest campus of CEU. (Note that the FIRS 2022 conference will take place just after, June 3-5, also in Budapest.)

Preliminary Program

The event is open to non-FTG members. Please note that if you are not an FTG member, your registration is subject to approval by the conference organizers.  Since space is likely to be limited, we encourage you to register as soon as possible.

The conference will start in the late afternoon on Wednesday, June 1, and end at lunchtime on Friday, June 3 (before the start of FIRS). The main conference dinner will be on June 2, but there will be group dinners scheduled in the evening of June 1. The conference will include a mix of about six hour-long plenary paper presentations and about twenty shorter 30-minute talks for early-stage work in parallel sessions.

The deadline for registration or paper submission is April 1, 2022. For registration, space is limited to 38 people, and preference will be given to FTG members registering on time and submitting a paper. The conference organizers will confirm the list of participants after the registration deadline. You can have your paper considered either for a full-hour presentation or for a 30-minute presentation for early-stage work. You will have the option to pick your desired presentation length during the paper submission process. For 30-minute presentations, submitting an abstract is sufficient.

If you are attending the FIRS conference, you can book your room at the Marriott (the FIRS conference hotel) at the conference rate from June 1. In addition, we have blocked hotel rooms at two other hotels that are all a short walk away from CEU: You may book your accommodation at Hotel Central Basilica and Hotel President until April 15.
